A smaller portion

Last month I was in a pub with my family. I was not that hungry, so I asked for a smaller portion. This was a bad move as I was given a kid’s portion and some crayons. Now I like crayons as much as the next person, but why can’t children be offered good food like normal people. I’m twelve, not twelve months old and I think that I should be allowed to appreciate proper food as it is, not dumbed down for me.

If children like myself eat adult food our tastes and palates would grow as we do. We are the dinners of tomorrow.
